PLAYLIST 11.28.2014

Black Friday – a relatively new consumer based holiday for us Canadians – has come to represent for most, a loathsome display of consumerism, and for some, a really fun day at the mall.

Today’s playlist will appeal to those of you hunting down deals and stimulating the economy, as well as the rest of you stuck at home fighting your FOMO. This eclectic mix of tracks transcends genres and decades and has just enough to build you up and bring you back down gently. One thing you won’t need to stress about is what you’re listening to.

Keep your eyes on the prize and remember – there are only a few things worth losing friends over.

PLAYLIST 10.30.2014

This is not your average halloween playlist. You may notice that the King of Pop’s “Thriller” or the classic “Monster Mash” along with any other classic halloween songs you’re used to, have been omitted from this playlist. I figured you will have heard those songs enough by the time Halloween has passed so I thought I’d try something a little different. All of the songs on this playlist had to meet the following (albeit very loose) criteria: songs have to have a ominous, Halloweeny feel to them, and/or the song or artist name has to relate to Halloween in some way. So if you’re tired of hearing the same old songs every halloween maybe this mix can fulfill your halloween music needs. Have a safe and spooky weekend!
