Behind the Scenes – EQ3 Fall/Winter 2015/16 Catalogue

This year we took some of our favourite new and existing EQ3 pieces on the road and outfitted a secluded cabin in the heart of the Canadian Shield. Located 2 hours north of our Winnipeg-based manufacturing facility, the modern cabin became a perfect site to showcase the diversity of the EQ3 product line. The views are awe-inspiring, and give way to a fitting backdrop showcasing our Canadian made furniture, in an inherently Canadian location.

Our biggest challenge for this year’s F/W 2015/16 catalogue was getting our entire product line into this secluded cabin on Lake of the Woods!

Omg the  S T A I R S !!

Ok, well maybe not our entire product line but pretty close – with doubles and triples of certain pieces as well!

Our Hands–Theresita

Comments Off on Our Hands–Theresita

Our Hands will be a recurring series of hand portraits and questions with the intention of illustrating the people that help build our products. Furthermore, this body of work is quite personal. It embodies properties that I speak about in my own art practice which are about the new immigrant experience and their adaptation to life in Winnipeg. Currently my focus is on the wave of tailors and seamstresses that came to work in Winnipeg’s flourishing garment industry in the late 1960’s and early 70’s.
