Did you know that EQ3′s on Pinterest?
For those of you who have yet to engage in this popular past-time, allow us to explain. Pinterest is a social media app where users create virtual pin boards and “Pin” content that they’ve discovered online. The app also allows users to “Follow” boards of individuals and brands they’re interested in, making it a wonderful tool for organizing home decor projects, finding delicious recipes and tracking design, fashion and lifestyle trends.
We’d love for you to Follow all of EQ3′s Pinterest Boards (username: EQ3_Furniture), but thought it might be fun to share a few of our recent Pins with you here.

Today’s Pins speak to multi-coloured decor. We’ve been curating bold and bright images on Pinterest ever since Thom shared his colour-themed blog post with us last week. Decorating with colour is a quick and easy way to change up the look of your interior; and, it’s especially fitting for summer living. The result is a kaleidoscopic round-up of lively interiors, furnishings and accessories, showing ways to work colour into your home.
We were inspired by this brighly coloured bowl shown above, which Canadian design and lifestyle blogger Christine of Just Bella blog used to show off her baked cinnamon tortilla crisps recipe. Blue works well with most colours, making it a fun and unexpected neutral to work with. Pair it with colours of equal saturation or intensity, for best results. Consider orange, yellow, red and even pink for smaller pieces like side chairs, tabletop goods and other decorative elements. Leaving larger surfaces, such as floors and walls, white or a pale neutral will allow colours to pop and prevent the palette from being too overwhelming.
